I have a proprietary recipe for Swedish Meatballs that I got from a former business source. I tweaked it just a bit and published it HERE. Thing is, it’s a bit rich. Now it’s time to revise it again! These Kraft Cooking Cremes are handy, tasty, and just the right consistency.
C T’s Swedish Meatballs with Cooking Creme
1 lb frozen precooked meatballs (1.25 on sale w/coupon)
1 container (1 cup) Kraft original flavor Cooking Creme (.99)
1 packet onion soup mix (.23)
1 packet brown gravy mix (.39)
1/2 teaspoon thyme
1/4 teaspoon ground pepper
1 2/3 cup water <– oops! Changed.
Dump all the ingredients in a 2.5-3 qt Crock pot. Mix it all up well. Heat through on Low for 4-5 hours. Serve over noodles (Healthy Harvest 1/2 package = .24) with a side of green beans (.25).
Total for this meal for four is about $3.25. The meatball sauce is soooo good! Lighter that the original, and great for noodles or rice.
