Fiesta for FREE at the Cinco de Mayo Events
The South Omaha Business Association sponsors the 25th Annual Cinco de Mayo this weekend. The festivities begin Friday evening with a banquet and coronation, and continue through Sunday with a fiesta grande. (But you know everyone will also celebrate Wednesday the 5th!)
Most of the activities, including the carnival, will be in the area of 24th & N. The parade starts Saturday morning at 10:00 and runs 24th & B Street to 24th & P Street. A 5K walk to benefit Ixim Spirit of Solidarity will be on Sunday starting with registration at 7:30 am.
