Use P&G Coupons and Give Clean Water
March 9, 2008
Procter & Gamble, one of the largest, if not the largest, global manufacturers/producers of everything consumer, has launched a campaign to provide clean water to areas of the world where that is hard to come by. And we as shoppers can help painlessly.
During March and April 2008, for every P&GBrandSaver coupon redeemed, P&G donates 1 liter of PuR water to primarily children in developing countries. PuR is a water purifying technology developed with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to treat contaminated water to meet international health standards.
BrandSaver is a Sunday newspaper supplement containing coupons for P&G products you may use everyday. Look for additional sales in stores that might encourage you to use the coupons. If you would normally purchase any of these products, Cheap Thrills encourages you to do so during March and April, to help support this cause. The coupons from last week are a mild incentive, but look for more coupons on April 6.
