Here are some notable grocery sales in our area this week.  Grapes (imported) are .99 at many places this week.  Please wash them thoroughly.  I have to say that BnS seems to have the best frozen food deals so far, listed in their separate flyer (not the weekly Wednesday one).  If you’re into the processed meals and such, please look in the ads for those “deals.”  It’s also time to start thinking about Easter stuff: egg decorating, candy for baskets, etc.  I’ve found great deals at Walgreen’s (I know, odd for me, isn’t it?), but if you find an incredible deal, please share.

Bag N Save:  Our Family canned vegetables are 3/$1 PLUS there is an in-ad coupon for $1 off 12.  So, for $3, you get 12, at .25 each.  Select Kellogg’s cereals and select General Mills cereals are $1.88.  If you missed the other store’s cheese deal last week, OF chunk or shred cheeses are $1.77.  Boneless pork sirloin roast or chops at $1.49 can be used in so many ways, and are waist-friendly.

Baker’s:  Gallon milk just $2.50!!  Banquet pot pies are .48, and use that coupon.  Private Selection (their premium brand label) deli meats and cheese are just $5.99/#.  Bone-in pork shoulder roast for .99/# is still a good deal.  Their organic line is 25% off.  Select varieties of the 15-oz cans of Dole fruit are $1, and the pineapple would make a nice topping for the pork, eh?

Super Saver:  Head lettuce is .76 each, which is a great deal.  In bulk foods, .58/# for oats is pretty good.  Orville Reddenbacher popcorn .88?!  Wow!  Combine that with a coupon.

Happy shopping!
